Job summary

Standard Construction Co., a CRH Company, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our field team. The role involves safely operating heavy equipment on road, site or highway projects and collaborating with co-workers and supervisors.

You will follow all safety procedures, perform basic equipment servicing, complete daily inspections, and help train less-experienced staff. Occasional travel and willingness to work nights or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Previous related experience in the construction field preferred.
• Willing to travel and work nights/weekends when required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Age 18+ required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment on road, site or highway projects.
• Report problems to manager and follow Foreman directions.
• Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Wear PPE and adhere to safety requirements.
