Job summary

CRH is seeking an Equipment Operator/Leadperson (Construction) to join its team. The role involves safely operating heavy equipment used in road, site, or highway construction and paving, reporting issues, and maintaining a safe workplace."

Responsibilities include following Foreman instructions, performing basic maintenance, training junior staff, and conducting pre/post inspections on equipment at each project site. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Two to Five years experience in loader operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment for road/site/highway construction and paving.
• Report problems to manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and others.
• Follow Foreman directions and daily task expectations.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance; refer major issues to Foreman.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees.
