Job summary

Standard Construction Co., a CRH Company, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our field crew. The role involves safely operating heavy equipment used in road, site or highway construction and paving, while collaborating with teammates and supervisors on project tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, construction experience, and a commitment to safety, OSHA and MSHA compliance, with willingness to travel and work nights or weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Previous related experience in the construction field and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment used in road, site or highway construction and paving.
• Work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers.
• Report problems to your manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees.
• Perform general labor duties when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
