The Army National Guard is seeking Horizontal Construction Engineers to perform heavy equipment operation and earth-moving tasks to prepare sites for roads, airfields, and buildings, enabling civilian construction careers after service.

You will train through Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, gain paid work experience, and access tuition assistance, the Montgomery GI Bill, health care, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a physical exam.
• Enlistment in Army National Guard required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers, roadgraders and other equipment to clear obstacles.
• Level earth for runways and roadbeds.
• Assist in combat engineer missions and transport materials.
