Job summary

Army National Guard is seeking Horizontal Construction Engineers to perform heavy equipment operations and site preparation. You will level earth for runways and roadbeds, clear areas, excavate, and move materials to support construction and combat engineer missions.

You will learn to operate bulldozers, roadgraders, cranes, and other equipment while earning an active paycheck and pursuing civilian construction career skills through training and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Operate heavy construction equipment such as bulldozers, roadgraders, and cranes.
• Learn to level earth for runways and roadbeds, clear, excavate and move materials.
• Outdoor work orientation and willingness to train with pay.

Responsibilities

• Analyze grade stakes and place them.
• Cut and spread fill material with scraper.
