Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks an Equipment Operator to drive and operate heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. A valid driver license is required and the role involves outdoor work at multiple locations.

This Full-Time, non-exempt position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits, with duties including equipment transport, vehicle maintenance, and strict adherence to safety around electrical hazards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transports equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Installs and removes gates, fences, and barb wire.
• Uses a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Gathers brush and feeds into wood chipper and applies herbicide as needed while following safety protocols.
