Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks an Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, and stump grinders to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. Driver License required; CDL preferred.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, retirement, and paid time off. You will work across multiple states, maintain equipment, and follow safety protocols in all weather

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Driver License required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers, stump grinders).
• Transport equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, culverts, and base.
• Cut brush with a chainsaw and feed into a wood chipper.
• Apply herbicide to rights-of-way following safety procedures.
• Maintain truck, chipper, and equipment in good order and safe condition.
