Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. The role involves operating heavy equipment, transporting gear across state lines, and performing site maintenance including gate, fence, and culvert work.

Requirements include being 18+, identifying tree species, and familiarity with electrical hazards. A high school diploma is preferred, with a driver’s license required and CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possesses working knowledge and ability to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Driver License Required.
• CDL Preferred.
• Transportation to show up location required.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from multiple state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barb wires, culverts, rocks and base.
• Work around hazardous equipment and high-noise environments with hearing protection.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
