Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. The role requires operating heavy equipment, transporting gear across multiple states, and performing site work on right-of-way with safety as a priority.

The position offers full-time hours, competitive hourly pay, and a benefits package including health, dental, and retirement options. CDL is preferred but not mandatory for all roles.

Qualifications

• Driver license required; CDL preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check may be required.
• Knowledge of electrical hazards and safety procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers, and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barriers, culverts, rocks, and bases.
• Operate chainsaw for brush, logs, and large stumps; feed material to wood chipper.
• Apply herbicide to right-of-way following safety protocols.
• Maintain and service trucks and equipment in good mechanical order.
• Work around hazardous equipment and in varying weather conditions.
