Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks an Equipment Operator to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines using heavy equipment. A valid driver's license is required and the role involves operating bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and other machinery at multiple job sites across the region.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with competitive hourly pay and a benefits package including health, vacation, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from multi state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barb wire.
• Install and remove culverts, rocks and base.
• Works on rough rock and base alongside highways and rights-of-way.
• Uses a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Gathers brush and feeds into a wood chipper.
• Maintains truck, chipper and equipment in clean, orderly condition.
