R B Hinkle Construction Inc is seeking skilled Equipment Operators and CDL Drivers to join our team. The role involves operating heavy equipment for construction projects and safely transporting materials to and from job sites.

Responsibilities include inspections, following grade stakes and blueprints, and maintaining logs. Candidates should have a CDL, DOT medical card, and strong safety knowledge; ability to work in various weather and on-site conditions is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Strong understanding of site safety protocols and practices.
• Ability to read grade stakes, blueprints, and construction plans.
• Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders) safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections and daily maintenance checks.
• Load and unload materials and equipment; ensure secure transport.
• Operate CMVs with a CDL (dump trucks, flatbeds, heavy haul) and maintain driver logs.
• Communicate with supervisors and team; assist with general labor as needed.
