Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders) safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections and daily maintenance checks.
• Load and unload materials and equipment; ensure secure transport.
• Operate CMVs with a CDL (dump trucks, flatbeds, heavy haul) and maintain driver logs.
• Communicate with supervisors and team; assist with general labor as needed.

This role involves operating a variety of heavy equipment for construction projects and/or safely transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites.Job Responsibilities-Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and other construction machinery in a safe and efficient manner.Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections of equipment and complete daily maintenance checks.Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies on job sites.Interpret and follow grade stakes, blueprints, and verbal instructions to ensure accurate execution of work.Load and unload materials and equipment, ensuring secure transport.Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) with a CDL, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and other heavy haul vehicles.Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs.Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other personnel on job sites.Perform manual labor as needed to support construction operations.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Job Qualifications-Proven experience operating a variety of heavy construction equipment.Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.Current DOT medical card.Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and practices.Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and construction plans.Mechanical aptitude for performing basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus.About UsWe are an underground and overhead utility contractor, specializing in the installation of conduit, manholes and streetlights through trenching, directional, drilling and moling.
