This role involves operating a variety of heavy equipment for construction projects and/or safely transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites. **Job Responsibilities-** \* Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and other construction machinery in a safe and efficient manner. \* Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections of equipment and complete daily maintenance checks. \* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies on job sites. \* Interpret and follow grade stakes, blueprints, and verbal instructions to ensure accurate execution of work. \* Load and unload materials and equipment, ensuring secure transport. \* Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) with a CDL, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and other heavy haul vehicles. \* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs. \* Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other personnel on job sites. \* Perform manual labor as needed to support construction operations. \* Maintain a clean and organized work environment. **Job Qualifications-** \* Proven experience operating a variety of heavy construction equipment. \* Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record. \* Current DOT medical card. \* Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and practices. \* Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and construction plans. \* Mechanical aptitude for performing basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. \* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions. \* Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods. \* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \* High school diploma or equivalent preferred. \* OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus.**About Us**We are an underground and overhead utility contractor, specializing in the installation of conduit, manholes and streetlights through trenching, directional, drilling and moling.
