R B Hinkle Construction Inc. is seeking a dedicated CDL Class A Driver to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from construction sites; this role is essential for timely project execution.

Responsibilities include operating tractor-trailers and lowboy trailers, performing inspections, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining logs. The position requires a clean driving record, physical ability, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable experience operating Class A commercial vehicles.
• Experience hauling heavy equipment and construction materials.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, lifting, bending, and loading.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles with a Class A CDL endorsement including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and lowboy trailers.
• Transport heavy construction equipment and materials to various job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document defects or maintenance needs.
• Load and unload equipment and materials with proper securing and weight distribution.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and vehicle inspection reports.
