Job summary

Building Ventures in South Boston, VA seeks experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our grading and site development team. You will operate dozers and excavators, perform daily inspections and basic maintenance, and support crews to keep projects on schedule in a hands-on, full-time role.

Minimum 2 years on heavy civil projects, ability to read grade stakes and site plans, strong safety habits, and reliable transportation to the jobsite are required.

About this roleWe are hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to work on grading and site development projects in South Boston, VA. Operators will run dozers and excavators on heavy civil jobs, perform daily equipment checks, and support crews to keep projects on schedule. This is hands-on, full-time site work. You'll work under the direction of a foreman, follow site safety rules, perform routine maintenance on assigned machines, and help with manual tasks when needed.
