Job summary

BRANDENBURG INDUSTRIAL SVC CO is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to work across multiple states. The role requires operating skid steers, loaders, excavators, and other equipment safely, with up to 95% travel.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of multiple heavy equipment types (hammer, shear, bucket, grapple).
• Ability to distinguish debris and scrap materials visually.
• Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators, etc.).
• Use bucket to disassemble buildings and structures.
• Excavate and grade dirt, fill debris as needed.
• Unload/load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers.
• Install or remove loader attachments as required.
• Coordinate use of heavy equipment to separate materials.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment.
• Climb onto and off equipment safely; maintain balance on uneven surfaces.
• Work in personal protective equipment in all weather conditions.
• Follow Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies; maintain consistent performance.

Duties / Responsibilities / Physical Requirements

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.)
• Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
• Excavate and grade dirt, fill &/or debris
• Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
• Install &/or remove loader attachments
• Coordination to use heavy equipment to separate various materials
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment
• Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces
• Agility, bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet
• Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Regular and Predictable Performance

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprentice
