Job Description

Heavy Equipment Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Heavy Equipment Operator for a company based in Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to support grading, excavation, and loading.

Pay Rate: $24-$25 per hour DOE

Schedule and Hours: Monday through Friday

Heavy Equipment Operator Duties and Responsibilities

1. Experienced Fine Grade Heavy Equipment Operator
2. Operate excavator, fine grade dozer, loader, and skid steer
3. Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on equipment
4. Assist with other tasks and duties as needed on the job site

Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications and Requirements

1. 3+ years operating heavy equipment specifically FINE GRADING
2. Pass criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening (INCLUDING THC)
3. Requires extensive physical ability
4. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Required
