Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to service, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and tools. The role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, parts replacement, and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulic systems, operate jacks and cranes, and hold a valid driver’s license with CDL preferred. This full-time, hourly position offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
• Experience repairing hydraulic systems on fleet vehicles preferred.
• Ability to operate the machinery you will service.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace worn or damaged parts on heavy equipment.
• Provide regular servicing using jacks, cranes, and handheld tools.
• Adjust engines and assemblies such as gear transmissions and hydraulics.
• Inspect critical parts for wear, defects, or damage using specialized tools.
• Test equipment regularly to ensure safe operation.
• Clean components using approved solvents.
• Weld components as needed using gas or electric welders.
