Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Conway, AR is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to service, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and tools. The role emphasizes safe operation, reliability, and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities include repairing worn parts, servicing with jacks/cranes, adjusting engines and hydraulic systems, inspecting components, testing equipment, cleaning parts, and welding when required. CDL preferred; pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Experience working on and/or repairing hydraulic systems on fleet vehicles is preferred.
• Must be able to operate the type of machinery being worked on.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment and replace worn or damaged parts.
• Perform regular servicing using jacks, cranes and handheld tools to dismantle/reassemble equipment.
• Adjust engines and hydraulic assemblies including gear transmissions.
• Inspect critical parts for wear and defects with specialized tools.
• Test equipment regularly to ensure safe operation.
• Clean components using approved solvents.
• Weld components as needed (gas or electric).
