Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. This full-time hourly role requires operating multiple heavy machines and transporting equipment across multi-state locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possesses working knowledge and be able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, and culverts; manage rock/base on highways and rights-of-way.
• Use a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Operate truck-mounted sprayers or backpack sprayers for herbicide application on right-of-way.
