Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator with a valid driver license to drive and operate heavy equipment across multiple job locations. You will remove branches and tree material from electrical lines, transporting equipment and performing gate, fence, or culvert installations as needed.

The role offers a full-time, non-exempt work arrangement with competitive hourly wages and a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possesses working knowledge and be able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barb wire.
• Install and remove culverts, rocks and base.
• Use a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Apply herbicides to rights-of-way following brush removal.
• Maintain equipment in clean, mechanical order.
