Equipment Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: Up to $25-$33/hr

Locations: Area around Atlanta, GA

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support various equipment including Bunk Cutters, Dust Collectors, EWP saws, Norfield door equipment, etc. The role involves responding to service calls, performing preventative maintenance, addressing breakdowns, and supporting the operations team. The technician will ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and effective condition. State travel will be required. Company vehicle and tools will be provided.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair equipment across multiple facilities around Atlanta.
• Respond to service calls, perform preventative maintenance, and address breakdowns.
• Document all work accurately and promptly.
• Communicate findings or support needs with supervisors and team members.
• Coordinate with outside contractors or vendors when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Support maintenance inventory management.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Great attitude and team player mentality.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent trade school/degree/certification.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Willingness to travel short-term and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Basic experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, and other PIVs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
