Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is seeking a Mechanic Technician II to diagnose and repair a broad range of company vehicles and heavy construction equipment.

You will perform advanced engine, drivetrain, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC diagnostics, and support the development of less‑experienced technicians at our Mid-Atlantic sites. The role requires a high school diploma or trade training, plus hands-on repair experience on heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade training preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment required.
• EPA 609 certification a strong plus; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and repair company vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Perform advanced engine and drivetrain diagnostics and repairs.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC system issues using diagnostic tools.
• Inspect, test, and verify repairs; train less-experienced technicians.
• Maintain service vehicles and tools; ensure safe operating conditions.
• Coordinate with parts and dispatch for timely repairs.
