Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking an equipment maintenance support professional to assist field technicians and ensure timely repairs on heavy construction equipment. You will communicate with dispatch, verify repair quality, and help manage tool inventories while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends with overtime as needed. A valid driver's license and experience with CAT/SIS, Volvo Prosis, and Cummins InSite are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing heavy construction equipment; 1 year field experience required.
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist equipment technicians or service personnel with technical support by phone/email or on site.
• Develop quick and accurate communication with field personnel and dispatch.
• Assure quality of repairs to minimize recalls and duplicate work.
• Comply with governmental and company safety policies.
• Review shop tool requirements to work more efficiently.
• Report deficiencies to advance PM program effectiveness.
• Participate in dealer/manufacturer technical training and share with others.
• Coordinate with Field Services Dispatcher and parts personnel for on-time parts delivery.
• Work daily with internal departments, field managers, superintendents, and field mechanics.
• Ensure job is performed within hours of service guidelines and maintain clean tools and truck.
• Respect Trimble/Telogis regulations and stay oriented to safety.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
