Qualifications

• 1 year field experience repairing heavy construction equipment.
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist equipment technicians or service personnel with technical support by phone, email or on-site.
• Develop quick and accurate communication with field personnel and dispatch.
• Assure quality of repairs to minimize recalls and rework.
• Ensure compliance with governmental and company safety policies.
• Review shop tool requirements to improve efficiency.
• Report deficiencies to advance PM program effectiveness.
• Participate in technical training with dealers and manufacturers.
• Coordinate with Field Services Dispatcher and parts personnel for on-time parts delivery.
• Collaborate with internal departments, field managers, superintendents and field mechanics.
• Maintain an hourly position with overtime as needed.
• Keep Service Truck clean and orderly.
• Stay within hours of service (HOS) and comply with Trimble/Telogis regulations.
• Perform other duties as required.
