Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Auction Site Coordinator for the JJ Kane auction subsidiary.

Based at the Fort Lupton yard, this role requires up to 50% travel to support other locations, coordinating deliveries and handling equipment descriptions for online listings. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (Sales or Business preferred), strong communication, and the ability to work independently with excellent time management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Sales or Business degrees preferred

• Must be able to analyze problems & develop solutions
• Good communication skills are a must
• Candidate must be able to independently manage their time and tasks

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all equipment deliveries from consignors and transporters
• Safely drive and operate vehicles and equipment
• Capture high-quality images and create accurate descriptions for all equipment being sold
• Develop and maintain knowledge of commonly sold products, customers, and processes
• Assist in approving items to be included in the auction and on the website
• Serve as the primary contact for sellers, buyers, and transporters, resolving issues promptly
• Assist with item pick-up after the sale and maintain inventory records
• Ensure all safety and environmental inspections are completed in line with company standards
• All other duties as assigned

Our auction subsidiary, JJ Kane, extends the lifecycle of critical equipment that allows new markets — small businesses and local individuals — to continue using products. This is great for the environment and for the communities. Right now, JJ Kane has an opening for an Auction Sales Coordinator. This position will be based at our auction yard in Fort Lupton, CO but will require up to 50% travel to support other JJ Kane auction locations throughout the country based on business needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all equipment deliveries from consignors and transporters.
• Safely drive and operate vehicles and equipment.

• Assist in approving items to be included in the auction and on the website.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers, buyers, and transporters, resolving any customer service issues promptly and professionally,
• Assist with item pick-up after the sale and maintain accurate inventory records for the site.
• Ensure all safety and environmental inspections are completed, and processes follow company standards and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degreerequired - Sales or Business degrees preferred
• Available for overnight travel, required

The expected salary range for this position is $66,000–$70,000 annually, depending on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
