Job summary

Altec’s JJ Kane auction unit seeks a Heavy Equipment Auction Site Coordinator based in Fort Lupton, CO, with up to 50% travel nationwide to support JJ Kane auction locations. You will coordinate deliveries, manage inventories, and interact with buyers, sellers, and transporters to ensure smooth auctions.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree and be willing to travel overnight. The role blends sales support, operations, and customer service within a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Sales or Business degrees preferred.
• Available for overnight travel, required.
• Must be able to analyze problems & develop solutions.
• Good communication skills are a must.
• Candidate must be able to independently manage their time and tasks.
• Demonstrated Customer and People Skills.
• Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all equipment deliveries from consignors and transporters.
• Safely drive and operate vehicles and equipment.
• Capture high-quality images and create accurate descriptions for all equipment being sold.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of commonly sold products, customers, and administrative and production processes.
• Assist in approving items to be included in the auction and on the website.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers, buyers, and transporters, resolving any customer service issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist with item pick-up after the sale and maintain accurate inventory records for the site.
• Ensure all safety and environmental inspections are completed, and processes follow company standards and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
