Job summary

Altec is seeking a Heavy Equipment Auction Site Coordinator to join JJ Kane’s auction operations in Fort Lupton, CO. The role blends customer service, sales support, equipment management, and logistics to ensure smooth auctions and successful deliveries.

You will coordinate equipment deliveries, capture accurate descriptions, and serve as the primary contact for sellers, buyers, and transporters, with up to 50% travel across JJ Kane locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Sales or Business degrees preferred
• Must be able to analyze problems & develop solutions
• Good communication skills are a must
• Candidate must be able to independently manage their time and tasks

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all equipment deliveries from consignors and transporters
• Safely drive and operate vehicles and equipment
• Capture high-quality images and create accurate descriptions for all equipment being sold
• Develop and maintain knowledge of commonly sold products, customers, and administrative and production processes
• Assist in approving items to be included in the auction and on the website
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers, buyers, and transporters
• Assist with item pick-up after the sale and maintain accurate inventory records for the site
• Ensure all safety and environmental inspections are completed, and processes follow company standards and regulations
• All other duties as assigned
