Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 0-2 years heavy equipment manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and measurements.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Comfort with using hand, pneumatic, hydraulic tools and precision instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, fit and join components per specifications and schedule.
  • Use hand, pneumatic, hydraulic tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move parts and materials.
  • Identify defective items and handle according to procedures.
  • Maintain safety and documentation per procedures.
  • Perform basic welding, washing, primer and painting as assigned.
