Job summary

Waste Pro in Mississippi is seeking an A Technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, body systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks. You will use factory service manuals and vehicle electronics to troubleshoot failures and perform repairs.

The role requires 3-5 years of hands-on experience with medium-duty class 8 vehicles, and may involve CDL considerations and OSHA safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands on technical experience in the maintenance and repair of medium duty class 8 vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to provide drive train, engine and transmission inspections and repairs.
• Ability to assess structural damage and guide repairs.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics related to a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
• Maintenance and repair of Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus equipment.
• Support of coworkers in safe and efficient work practices.
