UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team in Colorado. You will maintain a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy‑duty tractors, and trailers, with propulsion systems spanning diesel, gasoline, and alternative fuels.

You should be skilled in troubleshooting hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, and be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts per location needs. Competitive pay starts at $40.16 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive and Heavy Duty/Tractor mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• Class A/B or A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment.
• Performs bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders and stairs, and frequent standing/walking.
• Sits infrequently as required throughout the workday.
• Uses hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools to complete tasks.
• Operates standard and manual transmission.
