Job summary

UPS in Colorado is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers across multiple manufacturers, with propulsion systems including diesel, gasoline, and alternative fuels.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls. The role requires hands-on tool use, flexibility for 2nd or 3rd shifts, and willingness to work Monday–Friday or Sunday–Thursday as

Qualifications

• Current automotive and heavy-duty/tractor mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and PC.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• CDL Class A/B preferred.
• Dependable with regular and timely attendance.
• Willing to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T. requirements for the job assignment.
• Operates standard and manual transmission vehicles.
• Uses power and pneumatic tools as required.
• Maintains safety and compliance during shifts.
