Job summary

Continental's BestDrive division seeks a Service Technician to mount, dismount, balance, and repair commercial and off-road tires. You will load and unload tires, inspect and repair wheels, and document work while using heavy-duty tire service equipment.

A sign-on bonus program is offered at various levels with installments after 30, 90, and 180 days. Responsibilities include frequent lifting, keeping the vehicle in good condition, and performing emergency road service on nights and weekends as

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Clear verbal and written communication with co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/Unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires and inspect tires and wheels per procedures.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders and discuss with supervisors.
• Document work performed accurately per policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Unbolt and re-bolt wheels using wrenches and power tools.
• Mount/dismount off-road tires, including multi-piece rims.
• Perform emergency road service calls nights/weekends as needed.
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment appearance.
• Comply with OSHA safety requirements.
