Job summary

Continental’s BestDrive tire service team is hiring a Tire Service Technician. You will mount, dismount, balance and repair commercial and heavy‑duty tires, load and unload tires, and document service per policy.

Key responsibilities include inspecting wheels, executing repairs, operating service equipment, and performing on‑call emergency service as needed. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT physical are required; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Ability to communicate, verbally and written, clearly and professionally with co‑workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install tires & tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/Unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair Tires.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service per procedures.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders with supervisors.
• Document work performed accurately according to policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Unbolt and re-bolt wheels with hand and power tools.
• Mount/dismount off-the-road tires including multi-piece rims.
• Perform emergency road service calls on nights/weekends on a rotating basis.
• Maintain the service vehicle and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA safety requirements.
