Job summary

BestDrive, a subsidiary of Continental, is hiring a Tire Service Technician to expertly dismount, mount, balance, and repair commercial tires for various equipment. The role supports emergency road service on a rotating basis and offers a sign-on bonus program with installments at 30, 90, and 180 days, subject to eligibility.

Ideal candidates bring a valid driver's license, ability to pass a DOT physical, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, both independently

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/Unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires and inspect tires and wheels before/after service.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs as needed.
• Review work orders with supervisors and document work performed accurately.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Unbolt/re-bolt wheels from/to equipment using lug wrenches.
• Perform emergency road service on nights/weekends on a rotating basis.
