Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Service Writer to estimate heavy-duty truck and trailer jobs, including parts and labor, and to bill service tickets. The role requires frequent communication with vendors, mechanics, and customers to confirm costs, lead times, and scheduling.

The position works in a fast-paced shop/office setting at one of our service centers. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of VMRS, TMC practices, and invoicing are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Business or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' industry experience or related management experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimate service tickets and costs.
• Order parts and process returns.
• Provide customer support and vendor communications.
• Communicate with technicians, customers, and vendors.
