Job summary

M&K Truck Centers in Byron Center, MI is seeking a Parts Counter Salesperson to provide exceptional customer service while helping customers identify and purchase heavy-duty truck parts. You will work closely with technicians, drivers, fleet accounts, and repair facilities to ensure timely parts support and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in parts sales or heavy-duty truck parts.
• Experience with dealership systems (CDK/Procede) preferred.
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, technicians, and fleet accounts with identifying and purchasing heavy-duty truck parts.
• Research parts using electronic catalogs, manufacturer resources, and dealership systems.
• Process walk-in, phone, and email parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Receive, stock, organize, and label incoming parts inventory.
• Recommend alternative or superseded parts when original parts are unavailable.
• Support warehouse and parts department operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Process returns, warranty claims, exchanges, and credits according to dealership procedures.
