Ryder System, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician for the second shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm), Monday–Friday with weekends off. The role includes repair and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles, with paid training and opportunities for career growth.

Qualificações

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas/diesel engines.
• Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work).

Responsabilidades

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
• Works in compliance with safety, DOT, MOT guidelines.
