Job summary
Waste Pro is seeking a Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician to join our Safety Lane Inspection team in Florida. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, safety checks, and basic repairs on heavy- and light-duty trucks, including diesel systems and CNG configurations.

Qualifications
- Ability to assist drivers with Pre/Post trip process.
- Identify visible repairs on vehicles (lights, leaks, body damage).
- Assist with fluid top ups and lubrication tasks as trained.
Responsibilities
- Aid drivers in completing daily Post-trip and vehicle safety inspections.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles during Safety Lane and PMs.
- Perform lubrication and repair of lubrication points per schedule.
- Learn and apply brake inspection procedures and document results daily.
- Perform basic repairs on Heavy Duty Equipment and trucks.
- Communicate issues to technicians/drivers to minimize future repairs.
- Document parts usage and repair times in the system clearly.
- Maintain clean, safe work area complying with OSHA standards.
- Follow Factory Service Manuals for repairs.
- Uphold ethics and dependability; follow safety policies.
