Waste Pro USA Inc. seeks a skilled technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical and hydraulic systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks.

The role includes verifying DVIRs, communicating findings to drivers, and performing repairs using Factory Service Manuals. Candidates should be proficient with diagnostic tools, able to estimate repair times, and willing to mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic and related systems.
• Ability to interpret service manuals and complete repairs within standard repair times (SRTs).
• Mentor Assistant Technicians and Shop Helpers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs on heavy and light duty trucks.
• Communicates with managers/drivers about vehicle issues and preventive techniques.
• Completes paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Performs safety checks and maintains a clean, safe work area.
• Utilizes vehicle computer systems to identify failure modes and assign repairs.
