We currently have an opening for a swing-shift Mechanic in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a full-time position offering family-friendly benefits, a competitive pay package, professional growth opportunities, and ample overtime.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide maintenance on heavy-duty equipment, ie: tractors, trailers, forklifts, etc.
• Assist with major component swaps like hydraulic pumps, engines and transmissions.
• Must be able to apply and be issued a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card).
• Perform inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals, wet, and/or humid conditions and occasionally works in high, precarious places.
