The Army National Guard is seeking a Horizontal Construction Engineer to clear obstacles and prepare sites for road, airfield, or building projects. You’ll operate heavy equipment to level earth, clear areas, and move materials as part of construction missions.

Training includes basic and advanced individual courses, with paid training and tuition assistance. Citizenship and enlistment requirements apply, along with a commitment to serve part-time and/or full-time as needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to operate and maintain construction equipment.
• Understanding of soil types and grade stake placement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze grade stakes information and place stakes.
• Cut and spread fill material with scraper.
