Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Horizontal Construction Engineer to remove obstacles and prepare sites for construction. You will operate bulldozers, roadgraders and other heavy equipment to clear the way for projects.

Your duties include leveling earth for runways and roadbeds, clearing and digging areas, spreading fill material, and moving heavy materials with cranes, while supporting combat engineer missions. Training is provided with paid benefits.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in Army National Guard
• Minimum high school diploma or GED
• Ages 17–35
• Must pass a physical exam and meet standards
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com
