Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a Yarn Winder Operator to operate heatset machinery, monitor yarn quality, and support efficient production on the floor. You will document daily production metrics, participate in training, and adhere to safety and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced industrial setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining quality and safety. Prior yarn/manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of all required on-the-job training and safety training.
• Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heatset machinery to meet quality, production, and efficiency goals.
• Maintain daily production records and ensure efficiency.
• Proactively identify yarn quality during production runs.
• Doff finished yarn packages as required and assist with creeling/winding as needed.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and safety policies; perform housekeeping duties.
