Job summary

You will set up and oversee processes, monitor yarn quality during runs, and address issues promptly while adhering to safety procedures and housekeeping standards. Training and teamwork are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training and safety training completed.
• Previous yarn or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heatset machinery to meet quality, production, and efficiency goals.
• Threads and repairs breakouts to maintain efficiency and meet production standards.
• Proactively identifies yarn quality during production runs.
• Selects and stages tubes for winder operation.
• Doffs finished yarn packages as required.
• Run creeling and winding side when needed.
• Uses black light to check for unwanted mixes.
• Attend job-related training as deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow standard operating and safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
