Are you an HVAC Manager who wants to lead a team without weekend work or an on-call rotation? Would a company vehicle, gas card, and phone make the job easier? And do you want to lead the growth of an HVAC division that plans to add people this spring?
Our client, a private residential energy efficiency company, is looking for a full-time HVAC Manager to lead its service team in Frederick, MD. You'll supervise technicians, manage daily scheduling, and raise service quality across the HVAC division.
You'll run daily HVAC service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and workload assignments. You'll coach, train, and evaluate technicians, and step in with technical support on complex heating, cooling, electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and controls issues.
You'll also review work orders, service reports, diagnostic readings, photos, and invoices for accuracy. Field inspections, ride-alongs, and safety meetings keep quality high and cut down on repeat visits and warranty callbacks.
You'll track productivity, labor use, overtime, revenue, and material costs, then report on them through regular scorecards. When a customer complaint escalates, you'll see it through to a fix. You'll work closely with the installation, home performance, insulation, and duct cleaning teams.
Our client is a private residential energy efficiency company based in the Frederick and Hanover, MD area. It is mainly an energy audit company rather than a traditional HVAC shop. Its services include energy audits, home performance, insulation, duct cleaning, and HVAC service and installation. It performs full-service HVAC work when that work is part of a rebate program.
The team values accountability, quality, and safety. It also protects work-life balance and encourages collaboration across every division.
If you're a Maryland-licensed HVAC leader who wants a company vehicle, solid pay, and a weekend-free schedule, we'd like to hear from you.
