Bodycote in Rancho Dominguez, CA is seeking an Inspector with 0–5+ years of laboratory/inspection experience to support hardness testing, visual/dimensional inspection, and documentation under the supervision of the Quality Manager.

The role includes reading blueprints, adhering to ITAR, and maintaining EMS compliance. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required; forklift certification is needed.

Qualifications

• Must satisfy ITAR; US citizen or permanent resident.
• Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience.
• Reading/interpretation of blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Must read/write English.
• Experience with MS Office and databases.

Responsabilités

• Accurately perform hardness and other tests and record results.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection.
• Perform documentation and process review.
• Post inspection packaging.
• Complete conformance and related paperwork; conduct shop audits as required.
• Meet all specification requirements per BMS.
• Report deviations to supervisor.
