Job summary

Bodycote is seeking an Inspector based in Rancho Dominguez, CA to perform heat-treatment inspections under the supervision of the Quality Manager. Level-ready roles guide progression from Level C to Level A with escalating responsibilities and technical proficiency.

The role covers hardness testing, blueprint reading, documentation, and ensuring conformance to specifications. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident and able to work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints with accuracy.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills (MS Office).
• ITAR compliance requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform hardness and other tests and record results.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection.
• Perform documentation and process review.
• Post inspection packaging.
• Complete conformance and other related paperwork; perform shop audits as required.
• Meet all specification requirements per BMS.
• Report deviations or issues to supervisor or management.
