Express Employment Professionals - LAX is seeking a meticulous QC Inspector in Hawthorne, CA to ensure high-precision machined parts meet engineering drawings and AS9100/ISO 9001 standards.

The role requires 2–5+ years in aerospace inspection, expertise in GD&T, and hands-on use of metrology tools (PC-DMIS, Net-Inspect). ITAR compliance and ability to work on the production floor are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace/defense/ultra-precision CNC environments.
• Strong GD&T understanding per ASME Y14.5.

Responsabilités

• Dimensional & Visual Inspection: Receiving, In-Process (First Article per AS9102), and Final inspections on complex parts and materials.
• Precision Metrology: Use calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, and optical comparators.
• GD&T interpretation: Read blueprints, 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, routers and orders to determine tolerances.
• Non-Conformance: Identify and tag non-conforming hardware; generate NCRs in ERP/MRP and support root-cause analysis.
• Traceability & Compliance: Verify material certifications, processing logs, and travelers for AS9100/ISO 9001 traceability.
• Calibration: Monitor calibration status of inspection tools prior to use.
