Bodycote plc in Fremont, CA is seeking an Inspector to perform hardness tests and related measurements for heat treatment processes under the direction of the Quality Manager. The role involves reading blueprints, maintaining records, and ensuring conformity to specifications in a safety-sensitive environment.

Level career paths exist from Level C (0–24 months) to Level A (3–5+ years), with increasing independence and mentoring responsibilities as proficiency grows.

Qualifications

• Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have working knowledge of all testing equipment and terminology.
• Must have general knowledge of commercial and aerospace materials and heat treating equipment.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, be detail oriented and possess manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform hardness and other tests and records results as required.
• Complete conformance and other related paperwork; perform shop audits and or/reviews as required.
• Meet all specification requirements per BMS.
• Bring any deviation, problem or irregularity to supervisor or management.
• Must work in a manner consistent with the EMS.
• Performs other tasks as designated by position.
